REASON FOR LOSS:
Returning to Eindhoven after a Reconnaissance flight at St. Vith with 3 other 439 Squadron aircraft when at 09.45 hrs they mixed with nearly 20 Fx 190's. F/O. Angelini was found dead in his aircraft on the 3rd January. His loss was claimed by JG6. No additional information available.
