REASON FOR LOSS:

This crew took-off on 4th January 1943 in Bristol Beaufighter Mk IIF T3038 of 54 OTU based at RAF Winfield. Flt. Sgt. Norwood and his navigator Sgt. Jackson were on a training flight when the port engine failed, and caused the aircraft to crash at Hutton Hillbridge, Hutton, Berwickshire at 1420 hours, tragically killing both occupants.
