REASON FOR LOSS:
Collided in mid air with W/Cmdr. Stefan Janus D.F.C. (Northolt Wing Leader) P-0700 flying Spitfire F.IX UZ-J BS241. Both pilots were forced to bail out and Jasiński had been seen in the water for a while but lost his life. W/Cmdr Janus was taken P.O.W. and survived the war.
