REASON FOR LOSS:
Gilbert Price was an armorer and at the time was on detachment to R.A.F. Thorny Island when he was killed whilst cleaning the guns on an Hudson.
Based at Bircham Newton he was returned there for a funeral with full military honours. L.A.C. Prince worked at the Cape Breton Airport prior to enlisting in the R.C.A.F.
