REASON FOR LOSS:
Took off at 17.45 hrs for an offensive sweep over St. Omer, France. Shot down it is thought, by Oblt. Muncheberg of JG26. However another Spitfire from 315 Squadron was also lost on this sweep but that has been claimed by JG2.
