REASON FOR LOSS:
This aircraft & pilot failed to return from mission in the area of Cormolain, Normandy, France and was reported as missing in action.
UPDATE:
We have received an updated report from a Mr René Siegert 02-08-2008 for which we are very grateful. He is now known to be buried in the Kriegsgräberstätte la Cambe (France), Block 31, Grave 269. As and when we receive further information it will be published here.
