REASON FOR LOSS:
This aircraft was lost due to the pilot suffering oxygen failure. The aircraft dived into the ground at high speed and was destroyed. Tragically this crash occured ony five kilometers from the pilot's home town of Uetze. The engine of this machine was recovered by the town of Edemissen during 1995, a memorial stone erected after the recovery marks the crash site.
