Radio/Op: Unteroffizier Ludwig Ostwald 60936/16 Killed (Born 02.12.1919 in Bochum.)

REASON FOR LOSS:

This aircraft took off at 03.19 hours on night operations. At 03.44 hrs a radio message was received stating that the port engine had stopped and the crew were returning to base. At. 03.55 hrs, the last message was received from this crew. At 04.00 hrs, the machine was seen to crash and both airmen were killed.
