REASON FOR LOSS:

This aircraft was seen to approach Kilmington from above seven miles south of Frome flying low under cloud base. It circled a wood and after releasing some bombs reduced height and crashed into the ground. The aircraft blew up on impact, the wreckage caught fire and was scattered over a wide area.
