Believed shot down by allied night fighter. Radio operator Uffz Kempter was usually a member of this crew, on the 23.10.43 Kempter was unwell and Uffz Magewski took his place on the mission. Uffz Walter Kempter was shot down over England on the night of the 23/24th April 1944 in a Junkers Ju 88A-14 Wnr.144501 and survived.
