After returning from a recce mission, Uffz Schuster and Gefr Lenk had to make emergency landings due to a serious shortage of fuel. Damaged sustained by both aircraft was estimated to be 95%. Both pilot's were admitted into hospital at Dieppe to receive treatment for injuries sustained.
