REASON FOR LOSS:

This aircraft broke up over Fickleshole Farm, Chelsham, Surrey following a mid-air collision with Lt. Rudolf Ziegler during combat with RAF fighters. Hans Rath baled out from 20,000 feet and was captured, Ziegler also managed to jump clear and parachuted to safety and captivity.
