REASON FOR LOSS:
This aircraft was en-route to London when attacked by Spitfires of No.602 Squadron, both engines were disabled. Believed that attacked by S/L A. V. R. Johnstone and P/O A. Lyall. Then attacked by F/O P. C. Webb, the Ju 88 pilot was forced to ditch the aircraft in the sea just off Pagham, Sussex.
