July 1943 Unit: 2./(H)31 Location: Russia Front Uffz Herbert Blochberger & crew are briefed for a reconnaissance flight to establish the location of enemy positions. MD021: Fleet Air Arm Pilots Log Book This is a very impressive record covering the service career of Lt. Cmdr. G. McC. Rutherford. D.S.C. R.N.V.R. A record spanning over 15 years from July 1941 to January 1957, including 66 World War II Operational flights. All the well known FAA types are recorded here, Swordfish, Albacore, Barracuda, Firefly, Seafire, Sea Fury, Sea Vampire, Sea Hawk and many others. As well as the 162 page log, this CD also contains 8 related photos, a 16 page illustrated AIR Day Program for FAA Station Culham 1949, and a 7 page report on 1832 (Air) Squadrons visit by 10 Seafires to Norway September 1949

DD001: This is a highly detailed copy of a Mark XIV bomb sight manual produced by the Air Ministry in August 1943. The mark XIV was the standard bomb sight used by R.A.F. Bomber Command during World War 2, all the main bomber types used this bomb sight, Lancaster, Halifax, Wellington, Stirling, Mosquito, etc.
This document contains 122 pages, 66 photos, 41 drawings (7 in colour).
For anyone interested in bombe sights of WW2 this document is a must, for anyone re building a MKXIV, or for identifying parts from crash sites, or just generally understanding the workings of a WW2 bomb sight, this is the document you need!
